My friend has purchased a black color pure cashmere fox trim cape from Cashmere Pashmina Group. she look beautiful, gorgeous in this cape. The fur is so lush, it is 3.5 inches thick the cape is very warm.It is a very good item and the price is very reasonable for such a fabulous cape. I will highly recommend this item to every fashion savoy women who wants to be in style. This company has beautiful items at a reasonable price. I bought the reversible cashmere cape recently and tried to return it because it left lint on my clothes. The black side left black lint and the white side left white lint. I called Cashmere Pashmina and they said their products don't shed. I have been wearing cashmere for years and have never had this problem. But they said to send it back, which I did, but they then sent it back to me saying that they will not refund my money because it was worn and I had taken the little sticker off it and it had a perfume scent on it. Of course I had to try it on. Most people will try on clothes before they buy or before they decide to keep something they've ordered. I don't know if this cape is 100 percent cashmere as they claim because of the shedding. A Wall St. Journal article recently found that a lot of inexpensive cashmere from China, which this is, is mixed with other kinds of wool. Anyway, if it didn't shed, I wouldn't have minded it. Also, they have a 20 percent restocking fee for returned items so keep that in mind before you order something.

The cape was nicely packed in the cape cover and the big box made a beautiful birthday present. The cape was the best gift I could ever receive. The cashmere is very fine quality and the entire cape is satin lined. The best part is that the Fox trim is very lush and wide. I do not own this specific crewel embroidered product, however, I bought a pashmina made of the same fabric, 30% silk, 70% wool, from this company, Cashmere Pashmina Group--and it was the WORST QUALITY ever. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!The last pashmina I owned, which I bought in London (NOT from Cashmere Pashmina Group), lasted beautifully for over ten years. Finally I decided it was time for a new one, so I purchased a large pashmina shawl from Cashmere Pashmina Group at the Hilton Hotel in New York last year. I thought it was wonderful until after a few months of wear it started "pilling," that is, making small fuzzballs all over itself. The pilling got so bad that I took it back to the Hilton, where I was told to purchase a "sweater shaver" and shave the pills off. I tried this and it still looked terrible, so I took it back again. THey refused to take it back, continually telling me they'd take it back after a week but never after several months. I kept explaining that high quality pashminas should last years, not months, but it was like banging my head against a wall. I don't believe this was a "real" pashmina. I think it is made of a lower-grade wool.Moral of story: You are better off spending a bit more if you want a real pashmina, or just buying the really cheap one. Don't waste your money on buying from a company that does not stand behind their product. If your $279 scarf starts falling apart, this company WILL NOT replace it or refund…

very nice cloak...well-made, good quality. It was much too large for my 5'2" frame, though, so if you're on the petite size, beware! I had to return it, as it was just too big.

After looking for "the" cape for about 2-3 years now I happened on the Amazon website a few months ago. The only capes I'd found prior to this were all one color with dyed to match fur trim (boring), or outrageously expensive for far less cape and fur. Not what I wanted. This cape is not like all the others. This one stood out. This one has pizazz! It's formal, flirty, fun and fabulous. It took me awhile to decide to spend the money - I'm SO glad I did. The cape is my 50th birthday present to myself! It's far more beautiful in person than in the photograph, and when I put it on I feel just as happy as the girl in the picture looks. Golfo @ Tres Chic furs patiently answered my questions and worked with me to get me the perfect cape. I highly recommend this purchase. The experience with the seller was 2nd to none and the cape is stunning.

However, the fabric content was stated as 80% wool, 10% cashmere and 10% polyester...but it is actually 65% wool, 15% nylon, 10% polyester and 10% other fibers. The cape is still soft and substantial...but I was a bit disappointed when I saw that the fabric content was not wool and cashmere (that's the reason for the 4 star instead of 5 star rating).

This cloak is just beautiful! It is heavy which gives it a rich feeling. The clasp is a bit too "lightweight" and I've had to reinforce it, but mainly that's because of the weight of the velvet. It's great!
